Today, New Zealand icons L.A.B return with their new album L.A.B VI, the latest addition to their ever-expanding catalogue. After recording and releasing their first five albums in a five-year span, L.A.B ​ return after an almost two-year long period of writing, recording, tweaking and finessing what is their strongest album to date.

Written in an act of spontaneous composition, "Red Room" was born out of a bass and drum groove by band members Paul Bender and Perrin Moss when the group went to Rio De Janeiro in 2019 to work with legendary Brazilian arranger Arthur Verocai, who features on their previously-released single "Get Sun."
