GEORGE ALICE - 'TEENAGER' LIVE FROM MELBOURNE + PLAYING FIELD TRIP AND YOURS AND OWLS FESTIVALS THIS WEEKEND
On the heels of her 18th birthday, George Alice today shares the acoustic version of her song 'Teenager,' filmed live in Melbourne. Written by George Alice and mixed by Neal Pogue (Tyler The Creator, PINK!, Anderson .Paak, Robyn), the indie-pop anthem is a call to arms for the youth during one of the most turbulent global climates in history. It flips the script, giving a voice to a disenfranchised generation and demands the world to pay attention. This stripped down version reveals George's immense technical skill, the gorgeous vulnerability in her voice and the rawness of the song's lyrics. 'Teenager' signals the next phase of her career as she waves goodbye to her teenage years and begins to establish herself as the next great Aussie pop-export.
