GEORGE ALICE UNIVEILS NEW VIDEO FOR ‘CIRCLES’

George Alice released the stunning video for her debut single ‘Circles’ on Wednesday, and we’ve gotta say, it is GORGEOUS. Directed by Daniel Bolt and choreographed by Zoee Marsh, the concept behind the video is how George imagined the lyrics – the pushing and pulling of a relationship or friendship or going around in circles in life. The dancers Melissa Pham and Bailey Glen represent what’s going on in George’s mind.

‘Circles’ has climbed to #1 on Australia’s viral charts for over a week, holding its place in the top three on the viral charts for over a month in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland, hit #31 in the WORLD on Spotify’s GLOBAL discovery chart and sat at #2 the top ten of Triple J’s most played, winning her the cover of Spotify’s ‘Front Left’ playlist.

“Circles was I think the first or second song I’d ever recorded. The vocal take you hear on the song was the first vocal take, Maribelle who produced the record had never produced before… it was written and finished in a day… one of those serendipitous moments where everything came naturally and felt so right for my first release.” 

George has recently signed with international agencies – Tom Windish and Ira Goldenring at Paradigm in the USA (Billie Eilish + Lorde’s agent), Andy Clayton at Paradigm for UK/EU (SIA, Bastille), and Brett Murrihy and Sam Rogers from WME (Ruel).

Look out for George Alice over Summer where she will be supporting Broods and Tash Sultana, as well as performing at Laneway Festival, Hot Dub Wine Machine with more shows to be announced in the coming weeks.
