EAST AV3 TEAM UP WITH GEORGE ALICE FOR NEW SINGLE 'DO IT ALL AGAIN' + ANNOUNCE UPCOMING TOUR DATES
In an Adelaide dream come true EAST AV3 have teamed up with George Alice for their new single 'Do It All Again' ft. George Alice.
The dual triple j unearthed alumni have delivered all the good time vibes in ‘Do It All Again’, where bouncy beats meet a catchy-as-heck hook to give you a track that will have you smiling and moving the whole way through. The track was mixed and mastered by Andre Eremin (Tash Sultana, Sampa The Great, Mallrat, Julia Stone, Matt Corby).
Says EAST AV3 of the track: “We made the track on one of our Sydney trips during covid and the underlying festival theme came from our withdrawals from the whole live aspect of being an artist. Working with Georgia was such a special experience, especially being able to put two Adelaide names together, which seems to be quite a rare thing.”
George Alice adds: I was so stoked when the EAST AV3 boys hit me up to be a part of this track. I’ve always been such a big fan of their music and what they do. It’s such a fun song and was just a total vibe being in the studio together! So many collaborations and sessions can’t happen this way anymore so considering we are all from Adelaide it was meant to be. We love this song and we hope you do too!
EAST AV3 will take ‘Do It All Again’ on the road for a trio of shows in Adelaide, Sydney and Wollongong in April and May.
‘Do It All Again’ follows on from single ‘rosé + sashimi’, the trio’s debut EP RUGRAT$, and being a Top Five finalist in the triple j unearthed #DIYSUPERGROUP competition.
The acclaim has been flowing in for Adelaide’s EAST AV3 since they burst onto the scene in 2019 with their intoxicating, bombastic brand of hip-hop and rap alongside audaciously infectious beats and production with single ‘Riding Through The Fire’. In September 2019, triple j Unearthed named EAST AV3 Unearthed Feature Artist and they played their debut live show to thousands on the main stage of Listen In in Adelaide after taking out the triple j Unearthed Listen In competition. Their debut headline show was a total sell out with hometown fans flooding in to see them live. They followed this up with single ‘Le Labo’ which, like ‘Riding Through The Fire’, gained national radio airplay.
Releasing her first song at the age of 15, George Alice’s debut track ‘Circles’ took the triple j Unearthed High crown . Since then, ‘Circles’ has been streamed almost 7 million times and climbed to #1 on Australia’s viral charts; hit #31 on Spotify’s GLOBAL Discovery Chart and sat in the Top Ten of triple j’s Most Played.
Her second single 'Stuck In A Bubble' was added to triple j rotation in its first week; also picking up a National Nights add on Australia's Hit Network. Sir Elton John even picked it up for a spin on his ROCKET HOUR show on Apple Music 1. George also cracked #4 on Shazam’s Discovery Australia Chart and was featured as Apple Music's Spotlight Artist for July. Third single ‘Teenager’ released at the end of 2020 has replicated the same success and was accompanied by headline tour dates in Aus. George Alice has payed festivals including Field Day, Yours and Owls and Summer Sounds.
