The Smith Street Band have announced their return to live music in 2021, with a series of full band, stripped back, semi acoustic, seated shows in Victoria and New South Wales. 

April 2020 marked the band’s first #1 on the ARIA Album Chart with the release of their fifth studio album Don’t Waste Your Anger, which was recorded at the band’s Bush House Studios in regional Victoria.

Viva La Rev, the latest offering from The Smith Street Band, is a live album recorded at the band’s last ever show at Melbourne’s The Reverence Hotel in February 2019 before the iconic venue closed its doors.

Today, The Smith Street Band release new single ‘I Still Dream About You’, as premiered last night on triple j Good Nights. ‘I Still Dream About You’ is the second single from the band’s forthcoming, fifth studio album Don’t Waste Your Anger.

The Smith Street Band, like many other bands and artists around the globe have had their current tour postponed and are releasing an exclusive live recording today on Bandcamp in an effort to raise funds for crew members now out of work. 'Big Smoke’, the new single from The Smith Street Band, was recorded in the band's own, newly built studio which operates entirely off grid, hidden in the wilderness of regional Victoria, and aptly named Bush House Studios.
