Oscar Wilde Wrote in Lady Windemere’s Fan: “I am the only person in the world I should like to know thoroughly.” This song talks about a problem that has gripped many today: The contradiction between the narcissism that prevails in the world and the inability to be alone and willing to live with oneself.
As they did with their 2020 EP (The Fringes of Normality) and their 2018 LP (Catharsis), they cling to a conceptual theme to give life to this new album.
In this "A Futile Guide To Modern Living", they use Oscar Wilde’s book that compiles his greatest quotes entitled "A Guide To Modern Living" as inspiration. The album immerses itself in 3 different themes: Our relationship with ourselves, with our those closest to us and with society and the cultural movements that shape it. The album tries to provoke the audience to do an exercise in reflection and introspection about who we are and where we are going, all driven by human themes that, far from being modern, are universal and timeless.
STAY TUNED FOR OUR NEXT SONG COMING MARCH 19TH!!!
