Today, Sydney hip-hop artist YIBBY returns with his new single 'Chess Not Checkers', featuring Arno Faraji. The track, which was premiered on triple j, flips the energy upward from February's darker, slow-burning cut ‘Cigar’ and last year's 'No Sweat', with grime-inspired hip-hop production by Clockwork Odyssey and Kid Fiction. Today, Cake Pop share their new single 'Black Rum' and announce their new album Cake Pop 2, due May 14th via Mad Decent. 'Black Rum' is a burst of manic pop energy built around infectious synth-stabs and auto-tuned vocals. It comes alongside a zany music video featuring the group in over-sized fruit costumes, directed by Weston Allen (Rebecca Black, 100 gecs, Dorian Electra).
