“Dreams about what we had can’t leave it in the past
Say that you love me still you know I’ll say it back ...”

At just 20 years of age, Brisbane recording artist Christos has experienced great love and loss. The melodic hip-hop talent has been on a run over the past twelve months with industry-recognised singles 'Karma', and 'Calling', endearing him to new audiences. This year, however, he's evolving his sound and storytelling, inviting listeners to get personal with him on new release 'Dreams.'

Sonically Christos has carved out a niche lane for himself; blurring lines between the worlds of hip-hop, R&B, and pop. Inspired by the likes of the late Juice Wrld and Cactus Jack prodigy Don Toliver, the artist of mixed Croatian and Greek heritage utilises crisp autotuned melodies, fast flows, and poignant tales of heartbreak through his tapestry of music.

The latest drop is no exception, produced by rising beatmaker Lazyeye, 'Dreams' combines elements of 80's like synth and drum patterns with honest, melodic lyricism, enabling Christos to reflect on a love that could have been.

“Dreams is me venting. Venting about trials, tribulations, and relationships. I was feeling overwhelmed and trapped in my head at the time of writing, but as soon as I heard the dreamy synths it just started spilling out of me...”
— CHRISTOS

Having begun his music journey at age 6, recording on a webcam and uploading songs to Youtube, it's evident that 'Dreams' is Christos' most mature musical moment yet. With his music previously recognised via Spotify editorial playlisting, airplay on Triple J Unearthed, and international press coverage, his career is one that is elevating at a rapid pace.

An earworm that's sure to catch attention, tune in to 'Dreams' to get the early drop on a young, rising Australian star in the making.
