Inverse, Music Victoria, the Victorian Music Development Office and Moon Mother Productions are thrilled to present the winners of their recently announced Music VR Backers Fund – a first-of-its-kind grant offered to assist Victorian artists in connecting with fans in new and exciting ways, utilising live virtual reality technologies.

Live 3D virtual reality (VR) streaming platform, Inverse, supported by Music Victoria and the Victorian Music Development Office, is calling out to Victorian musicians’ and performing artists to apply for a first-of-its-kind Music VR Backers Fund, created to aid export of Victoria’s music talent to the world through immersive technology.

Last night, the 16th edition of the annual Music Victoria Awards honoured Victoria’s best acts, albums, songs and musicians of the year in another exceptional awards night. Taking place as part of the Melbourne Music Week Extended program at the Melbourne Recital Centre, the live-streamed event and Channel 31 TV special revealed the seven public-voted winners and 14 industry-voted winners following a handful of previously announced 2020 awards and accolades handed out at last month’s Industry Awards event.
