Alt folk rock troubadour, Tim Wheatley is back with a unique dose of melancholy and Australiana, today dropping his deeply personal single, Lying Low.  The song is complemented by a fittingly dark and manic video clip that showcases the private suffering and switching of personalities that inspired the song.

Melbourne-based post punks DESTRENDS have a remarkable way of driving their gritty hooks straight through the core of their listeners. After recently releasing two stand out singles ‘Medication’ and ‘Missing People’ DESTRENDS have released their new EP Wasteland, containing the two aforementioned singles and two new cuts ‘Wasteland’ and ‘Peaches’.

After spending much of 2019  on the road with their EP Good Time, Hideous Sun Demon are back for a new decade with what is perhaps their most direct piece of music yet - the cranking ‘Gimmicks’. Sitting somewhere between Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Gang of Four and King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, the newest from Hideous Sun Demon will sit well with longtime fans, while introducing a new and tight sound to the public as a whole.

The best artists, releases, venues and festivals of the year were honoured at the 15th Music Victoria Awards last night, while legendary siblings Vika and Linda and community radio institution PBS 106.7FM were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
