Away in Isolation are a local Melbourne based heavy band taking influences from deathcore, melodic death, nu-metal and metalcore. The band consists of vocalist James Moore and guitarist Bronson Bronson. Formed earlier this year while living together with a mutual passion for writing and creating they decided during COVID-19 to finally pursue a music career.
Away in Isolation’s first single release, title track ‘Veil’ was featured on Brutal, a community radio station in Bunbury which marked the band’s first-ever radio play.

Leading up to the EP, the band have been receiving positive feedback with the tracks released so far. On Triple, J Unearthed reviewers have said the music is ‘heavy and frankly hurtful’ and ‘barriers between hell and our physical earth have been obliterated’. The band are excited to continue writing and explore their abilities in upcoming releases.
‘Veil’ was recorded from the comfort of the band’s home during COVID-19. All tracks were written and recorded by James Moore, Bronson Bronson and co-produced by Adam Train.
