Despite all obstacles, Noah Dillon has had a huge year of growth in 2020, having been selected for the #BIGSOUND50, releasing two singles, ‘Sunburnt In July’ and 'Matthew McConaughey’, to hundreds of thousands of streams and rotation on triple j. As well as a Feature Artist spot on Unearthed and signing to New World Artists. Today Noah Dillon tops of his huge year, sharing a new single ‘Knievel Daredevil’. Featuring backing vocals from Asha Jeffries, the track is about the pressures that are put on young men to suppress introspection and sensitivity in place of fearlessness and grit.

Noah explains, “'Knievel Daredevil' is a letter to my former self that I wish I could’ve read in year 9. Looking back at my adolescent years, I can see the constraints and pressure I put myself to be something I wasn’t. This song is a reminder to step back and ask yourself what you really want. It’s a reminder to do things on your own terms and be who you want to be. I’m not a Knievel Daredevil and its important to remember that even the daredevils have feelings too!!”

The track was recorded at Debaser Studio in WA, with producer Andy Lawson and vocal contributions from Asha Jefferies. Excluding the clarinet, all instruments on the track were played by Noah himself. “Andy has such a great ear for growing soundscapes and pushed me to new depths,” says Noah. "It’s been super special to have Asha on the track. I really hope this is a nice change-up from our previous songs and will mean something special to someone!”

In the live arena, Noah Dillon and his band have been selling out shows in WA, playing local festivals Nannup, Wave Rock, as well as Good Day Sunshine later this month. They have previously supported Holy Holy, Olympia, San Cisco, Spacey Jane and Paul Dempsy and are preparing to hit the road again this November with a string of WA dates.

Having propelled himself into the hearts of Australia this year, its no telling what 2021 will bring for Noah Dillon and his band.
