TIM ALLAN ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF THIRD SINGLE ‘REMEMBER NOVEMBER’
Melbourne based singer-songwriter Tim Allan has today announced the release of his next single 'Remember November'. Available on the 30th of November 2020, Remember November will be available on all major music streaming services such as Apple Music and Spotify and will be the third release from Allan's debut EP scheduled for release early 2021.
After Allan's successful debut singles 'Polka Dots and 'Honey'', Allan continues that momentum with Remember November. Written and produced by Allan and recorded by Francis McKenna and mixed by Tara Suri, Remember November demonstrates Allan's ability to combine heartfelt lyrics with the tenderness of his piano,
Allan's life as one of five kids in a small rural town in North West Victoria changed dramatically when he made the leap to Melbourne to study musical theatre at two of Melbourne's most respected schools before launching into his song writing degree at the Australian College of the Arts.
Allan says "Remember November came about as a reaction to losing someone. I was asked to play at that persons funeral and not feeling brave enough I recorded this song to be played instead. After a couple of years of holding onto it I finally feel ready enough to share it publicly. The song is a reflection upon a time that really changed my life and how I will always remember the month differently whenever it comes to pass. I'm really proud of the piano work on this and the simplicity of the arrangement".
Inspired by artists as diverse as James Bay, Ed Sheeran, Green Day and Australia's own Dean Lewis, Remember November is a piano ballad that is as powerful as it is tender.
Allan is currently in the middle of planning a string of releases and live shows for early 2021.
