After selling out of all ticket allocations in just a few days, the Queensland Music Awards (QMAs) are excited to reveal five of the state’s most sought after acts set to perform live on its historical night of nights, Wednesday 5 May, under the decadent chandeliers of the Fortitude Music Hall for fans and industry members alike.

With six studio albums under their belt and regular triple j rotation, ARIA-nominated five-piece group, Ball Park Music (nominated in the Rock category as well as Album Of The Year) will bring their high energy, sing-along anthems and feel good vibes that have truly cemented them into Australia’s music industry.

“The quality of music created in Queensland is some of the best in the world. To be nominated for a QMA is always a pleasure and makes us feel proud. Looking down the list of nominees in all categories is all the proof you need to know that QLD is producing the best music in Australia across the board.” - Ball Park Music

Also performing will be 2020 breakout star Sycco (nominated in Pop), whose colourful, psychedelic-pop sonics, standout voice and droll turn of phrase have quickly established her as one of Australia's most promising and popular new artists.

Two time QMA winners, MZAZA (nominated in the World category) will impress the crowd with their Balkan-French inspired compositions of accordion, violin, percussion, double bass and Flamenco guitar bringing together the old and the new, the familiar and the foreign.

The ceremony will also see performances from loveable, feel-good Rock ‘n Roll larrikins Beddy Rays (nominated in Rock and Indigenous) off the back of their #57 placing in the Hottest 100, and a fiery set from 20+ million stream, platinum-certified Logan hip-hop exports No Money Enterprise (nominated in Hip Hop / Rap).

QMusic CEO, Angela Samut said, “These five outstanding acts will treat this year’s guests to a truly memorable night. They are such a great representation of the impressive, diverse, world-class talent on offer across Queensland.”
