Jameson is back with 2021’s first instalment of Jameson House of Rounds, taking its love for live music, Irish whiskey and community spirit on a tour to some of Sydney’s most beloved venues. Kicking off on Thursday, April 29, Jameson will be passing the mic to the likes of The Andy Golledge Band, The Buoys, Alice Ivy, Jaguar Jonze + more, for four nights of free live music at Bondi’s The Royal and Upstairs Beresford in Surry Hills.

Synonymous with shining light on some of the nation’s most exciting talents, and after a COVID-induced hiatus, Jameson House of Rounds is back on tour, set to ignite the Sydney live music scene that has been so dearly missed. A taste of what’s in store in 2021, the series is bringing the best local names to Merivale stages before culminating with a huge 3 day festival at Marrickville’s Vic On The Park over the upcoming June Long Weekend.

Jameson House of Rounds is ecstatic to welcome back The Andy Golledge Band on Thursday, April 29. Headlining Bondi’s The Royal, Andy is a gentle soul trapped in a 70s tuna fisherman’s body. With an energy of Bruce Springsteen and a voice often compared to Neil Young, his long years on the stage will see fans quickly hitting the dancefloor. Also taking to the stage will be Sydney-based duo, Salarymen. Combining rustic vintage with new modern sounds, Salarymen have crafted their own genre of memorable indie rock. With notable recognition from the likes of NME, Life Without Andy, triple j and more, Salarymen are not to be missed. Opening the evening will be local tastemaking DJ, Tasty Casey.

Returning for round #2 at The Royal on Thursday, May 6, Jameson House of Rounds will be calling on Sydney 4-piece, The Buoys. Pre-COVID, The Buoys skipped through the festival circuit, bringing their fiery anthems to the stages of The Grampians and Farmer and the Owl, and will bring the same electric energy to Sydney. Stirring up music fans on Thursday night is indie soloist Ruben Neeson bringing his multi-disciplinary and punchy country rock alongside The Beefs, whose music radiates Aussie vibes and the smell of an 80s pub carpet. Meanwhile, DJ Enter The Portal will keep the energy spinning high all night long.

Taking the tour to Surry Hills, Jameson House of Rounds will make its way to Upstairs Beresford on Thursday, May 13. Set to deliver her unique sound of enigmatic pop, Brisbane’s very own Taiwanese-Australian singer, Jaguar Jonze will headline the Jameson stage to ignite the dreamy dancefloor with fresh new tracks from her newly released EP, Diamonds & Liquid Gold. Melbourne-based Alice Ivy is up next on Thursday, May 27, leading the charge at the final Jameson House of Rounds of the series. Fusing soulful soundscapes with hip-hop samples, Alice Ivy's music is inspired by the likes of The Avalanches, Etta James and many more. With a touring repertoire that includes supporting Billie Eilish, Foster The People and Oh Wonder to name a few, Alice is ready to bring the same energy to the stage at Jameson House of Rounds. Keep your eyes peeled for support announcements via the Jameson Facebook page.

Returning to its roots, the series will round out with a mega 3 day festival at Marrickville’s iconic venue, Vic on the Park. Making its debut in 2019, Jameson House of Rounds at Vic On The Park has hosted the likes of Stevan, Ziggy Ramo and Alex Lahey to name a few. This year sees the festival bigger and better with some of Australia’s rising stars expected to hit the stage. Keep your eyes peeled for more information and get ready for the return of another memorable weekender in the Inner West.

Doing what they do best, Merivale has curated a Jameson drinks list for the series that guests can enjoy. Kick it off with a ‘Pickle-Back’ shot (Jameson and pickle juice, garnished with dill and a mini pickle), a Whiskey Apple Slushy, or Jameson’s signature Dry + Lime. Grab your mates and make it a jug for $25.

Jameson House of Rounds is a free event series so grab your mates and head down to The Royal, The Beresford or Vic On The Park for a chance to experience some of the best talent Sydney has to offer with a Jamo in hand. Jameson will also be shouting out a Jameson Dry + Lime for the first 100 punters through the door at each show - what’s not to miss?

Head to the Jameson Facebook page for more information and set times.
