THE TERRIFYING LOWS UNVEILS HAUNTING NEW SINGLE BELLADONNA.
The Terrifying Lows is the solo project of Melbourne based artist, producer and Gamilaroi man Tyler Millott. The new single ‘Belladonna’ is lifted from his self-titled debut album due out later this year. This song is also the first track produced and recorded by Millott where he worked out of a variety of Melbourne studios, before it made its way to Nashville with Kyle Dreaden (Bre Kennedy) mixing the final cut, and mastered by Joe Carra (POND) at Crystal Mastering.
The lyrics to Belladonna depict an intoxicating state of infatuation. Millott further adding, “I wrote this song after stumbling across the mythology of the Deadly Nightshade plant (AKA ‘Belladonna’) and it’s relationship with the history of witchcraft.”
‘Belladonna’ marks a distinct shift in Millott’s sound, partly due to his evolution as an artist, and as a person. Taking all he has learnt in his career as a session/touring musician for artists including Ali Barter, Husky and Ben Wright Smith, The Terrifying Lows returns assured and inspired.
In support of the new single ‘Belladonna’, The Terrifying Lows will be playing songs from his forthcoming album at a single launch in Melbourne and Sydney.
