Arkansas duo Alan Thomas and Steven Rutherford craft indelible synth-pop with a strong emotional quotient that sounds timeless as they come together to form joan. Thomas and Rutherford are crafting new memories for future generations, and if last year’s debut album 'superglue' is any indication, they’re just getting started. Collecting millions of streams across their dreamy reportoire, joan is an act that's overdue an Australian tour, and an act not to be missed!

A fresh-faced FELONY. will open shows across Australia. From touring and earning a spot in the Unearthed High Yearbook for two consecutive years, to being nominated for a Queensland Music Award in 2023 and securing high rotation on triple j for multiple singles - FELONY. has captured the attention of all the right people in recent years. Off the back of national tours supporting Mallrat, Foals, Declan McKenna, Griff, and Holly Humberstone, FELONY. blows you a kiss while flipping you the bird - you’re unsure whether to innocently bounce along, or embrace your inner anarchist, and that’s the whole point - teenage rebellion is both confusing and exciting as can be.

Beginning on September 15, The Maine, joan and FELONY. will play Magnet House in Perth, The Gov in Adelaide, The Tivoli in Brisbane, Liberty Hall in Sydney and wrap up at The Forum in Melbourne on September 22. The Maine have promised to throw things right back to 2008 playing fan favourites from their debut 'Can't Stop, Won't Stop' and will revisit tunes from all nine albums for a special night reliving memories and making new ones.

"We're so excited to bring the Sweet Sixteen tour to Australia," says the band. "It's been two years since we've been back, and we're looking forward to having a longer set packed with so many songs both new and old. Since we saw you last, we've released our self-titled album and been busy touring and celebrating 16 years as The Maine. We knew we couldn't leave our Australian fans out of all the fun, so get your tickets and we'll see you when we're looking at you!"

Hailing from Tempe, Arizona The Maine has matured both personally and sonically from their inception - now sixteen years ago - without compromising their integrity or losing their sincerity along the way. Fans have had the unique opportunity to grow up alongside the band, made possible by the band’s adamant insistence on meeting every single fan for free after each show on a tour. The Maine is John O’Callaghan, Kennedy Brock, Jared Monaco, Garrett Nickelsen, and Pat Kirch.

STREAM LOVED YOU A LITTLE by THE MAINE

The Maine’s ability to continuously flex their creativity and make dynamic records while maintaining their DIY mindset and keeping their authenticity has not gone unnoticed. Over the course of their career, the band has toured and performed at festivals worldwide, including Australia's Soundwave Festival in 2011, as well as headlining their own sold out festival in their hometown.

The Maine’s ninth studio album is their first self-titled record, and released last year on August 1. The album follows 2022’s single Loved You A Little which broke into the Top 5 on the alt radio charts. The band celebrated the album release with an extensive headlining run across the US known as their Sweet Sixteen Tour where they perform songs from across their expansive catalog.

Don't miss The Maine playing all the favourites in Australia this month!
