GREAT GABLE ANNOUNCES WA TOUR, POSTPONES NATIONAL TOUR, DEBUT ALBUM TRACING FACES OUT NOW
Following the release of their debut album Tracing Faces via ADA Worldwide earlier this month, Great Gable has announced a series of west coast shows in Bunbury, Dunsborough, Fremantle, Margaret River and Perth this October and November. The news is paired with the postponement of their Australian and New Zealand October tour.
STATEMENT FROM GREAT GABLE
Sadly with the current state of COVID restrictions across Australia & NZ, we have made the decision to postpone our tour for October. As keen as we are to get back out on the road and see you all, it's important that everyone is staying safe and healthy and we are all doing our part until this thing is under control.
Our team has been working hard to reschedule the tour for 2021, and we will have replacement shows for every city on the tour. All current tickets will be valid for the new shows, so if possible we'd love you to hold on to your tickets and continue to support the music industry and venues through this tough time. We totally understand it's been a tough time for everyone so if you do need a refund, please contact the relevant ticketing agency directly to arrange it.
Big love, stay safe, see ya real soon.

Written in a cabin among the Karri forests and a Chestnut Farm in the south west of Western Australia, and recorded at The Music Farm in Byron Bay, Tracing Faces is an album that fully reflects the solid relationship that Great Gable have after years of writing and touring together. The result is a collection of music that showcases the incredible range and influence of the band, with their classic sound augmented and empowered by producers Alex Henriksson and Matt Corby.
Their triumphant new single Tracing Faces is a Beatles-inspired anthem bursting with light and optimism. The track follows the hypnotic and buoyant single Blur which claimed the #2 most played position on triple j, their addictive lead single All My Friends and recent album track I Wonder.
Great Gable has quickly amassed a fervent, die-hard fanbase following the 2019 release of The Lazy Bones EP featuring singles I Swear and Cool Mind Blue. Renowned for their mesmerising and commanding live performance, they’ve supported the likes of Ocean Alley, The Jungle Giants, Thelma Plum and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and performed festival sets at Groovin The Moo, Falls Festival, SOTA Fest and will soon take the stage at Wave Rock Weekender.
“..captivating, sun-drenched guitar-pop..”
- NME
"A lush combination of spacey vocals and warm guitars back by a big drum sound, the track fills your stomach with butterflies and your head with cosy nostalgia."
- LIFE WITHOUT ANDY
"..the group channel a simultaneous ferocity and charm that’s difficult to balance in the alt-rock world..”
- PILERATS
“..the hottest new indie group to come out of Western Australia..”
- HAPPY
“Tracing Faces shows all the makings of a band that are destined for big things, and if this is just the beginning, then boy we're in for a ride."
- MIXDOWN
