SETH SENTRY NEW ALBUM SUPER COOL TREE HOUSE OUT TODAY SHARES NEW VIDEO FOR SINGLE ‘BRAMBLES’ALBUM LAUNCH PARTY ON TWITCHTONIGHT AT 8.30pm (AEST)

Fresh from his mammoth Lockdown Livestream Marathon on Twitch, Seth Sentry today releases his third studio album Super Cool Tree House as well as the official video for his new single, ‘Brambles’.

Lifted from the new album, Seth says about the new single, “‘Brambles’ was the 5th track I released on the ‘Super Cool Tree House’ project on YouTube. 5 weeks during lockdown last year in Victoria, I was feeling really comfy, and I got this hard vibey beat from Ed Quinn who is also one-half of Melbourne ex-duo - Slum Sociable. I knew I wanted to try a new style I’ve never done before, so I worked on this super funky swung flow type of vibe.”

Super Cool Tree House was created during the deepest, darkest depths of last year’s Melbourne lockdown. To pass time, Seth embarked on a weekly challenge with his online community.

The aim was for followers and friends to send in beats each week, and with those beats, Seth would write and record a track to share each Sunday. Collaborators were novice and professional producers, and the pure buzz of creating music in a new way reinvigorated Seth’s love once again for straight up bars. “Hardly any hooks, no thought about song structure etc. just straight up raps. I fucking loved it.”

Fast forward to the recent Melbourne lockdown, and Seth brought his Twitch community back again for his Super Cool Lockdown Livestream Marathon of Doom, a non-stop live streaming event with fans interacting virtually with Seth. Going about his day to day of making music, gaming, working out, sleeping, and even food shopping, the Marathon ran for over 200 hours in total with 363,374 unique views gained over the non-stop livestream.

Seth will be performing the full album Super Cool Tree House from start to finish on Twitch at 8:30pm.

Super Cool Tree House is happy, weird, funny, grim, irrelevant, and classic Seth Sentry. With songs like 'Tiger King', 'Denial', 'Cabin Fever' and 'Gatorade Bong', the album is a mirror to the last 18 months, of the weird and the wonderful.

The official video for ‘Brambles’ was created by Director / Producer / Videographer and Editor, Nick Rieve. Seth says, "When Melbourne lockdown hit about a week ago! It basically meant we couldn’t film anywhere in the real world, so we just decided to do it ourselves at home. We shot this clip in literally 5 hours start to finish during lockdown & ate delicious chicken wings. Was by far the funniest, easiest, most comfortable clip I’ve ever made. I mean, any film clip where you get to take a bath is pretty fukn cushy." ….
