MITCH KING RELEASES NEW SINGLE 'PASSING PHASE'
Gold Coast singer-songwriter Mitch King has released his new single, ‘Passing Phase’, which premiered this morning on ABC Radio Gold Coast. To celebrate the release of ‘Passing Phase’, Mitch has a run of shows lined up in Queensland throughout May and June – tickets are available from mitchkingmusic.com.au.
Mitch says, “reflecting upon my own experience ‘Passing Phase’ was born. I’d been in a rut and felt like there was a heavy cloud over me that I was struggling to shake off. Trying to think positive thoughts just wasn’t cutting it. So I went back to basics, took time to listen to the breeze, be in nature and realise that it’s all a natural progression and only a passing phase”.
Born and raised on the Gold Coast, Mitch King first started playing guitar at the age of 14, spending hours in his bedroom playing music. His single ‘Coming Back’ reached new heights when it was picked by the US NFL team Green Bay Packers to promote their season opener. Mitch has graced festival stages at the likes of the Tamworth Country Music Festival and St Kilda Festival, and supported artists such as Tones And I, America The Band, and Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson. Last year he made his television debut on Sounds Better Together and he appeared on The State Of Music.
