TIM ALLAN ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF DEBUT SINGLE ‘POLKA DOTS’
Melbourne based singer-songwriter Tim Allan announced the release of his debut single 'Polka Dots'. Available from the 28th of February 2020, Polka Dots is available on all major music streaming services such as Apple Music, Spotify and SoundCloud and will be the first release from Allan's debut EP scheduled for release mid 2020.
Written and produced by Allan and mixed by Callum McNab at One9Four Audio Engineering, Polka Dots demonstrates Allan's ability to convey his emotions through his music and capture moments in songs.
Allan's life as one of five kids in a small rural town in North West Victoria changed dramatically when he made the leap to Melbourne to study musical theatre at two of Melbourne's most respected schools before launching into his songwriting degree at the Australian College of the Arts.
Allan says 'This is a song about meeting someone new and hoping it lasts, and in my case it absolutely did. The song reflects the hopes of new relationships and is a perfect introductory song into who I am as a musician and a songwriter'.
Inspired by artists as diverse as James Bay, Ed Sheeran, Green Day and Australia's own Dean Lewis, Polka Dots is an exciting upbeat take on pop/rock that is bound to have listeners singing along.
Allan is currently in the middle of planning a string of future live dates to support the release of Polka Dots whilst recording his next body of work. 2020 is expected to be a busy year for the emerging artist.
