“This is pretty tight and I know you’re capable of matching that energy through live means. Keen to hear the rest of this debut LP.”
(Bridget Hustwaite, Triple J)

“OMW will blow your socks off. Whilst the band have currently only worked Australia, they are such a promising foursome they could no doubt become big with alternative music fans around the world.”
(Live Loud Magazine)

“While listening to We Used To…, I feel like this stopped being a cut-and-dry review of an album, and more an expression of my appreciation for this release and the great accomplishment it represents.”

One More Weekend dropped their new teeth-sinking rock single 'Talk' on March 5, boasting explosive pop-rock guitar riffs and anthemic gang vocals in an energetic and tight-knit track. They are now unveiling the visuals to go alongside it.

Aligning with the meaning behind this explosive, nostalgia ridden number, the music video unfolds a story between a couple who, inadvertently, are in a toxic relationship that they keep coming back to.

In black and white – as the band blast out their tune in a studio – the couple fight, break up, get back together and fight more. It reaches a point where the male character has realised that it is best for both of them for it not happen anymore. After some time, rather than stopping to talk at the cafe or answer the phone call, he summons the courage to move on despite the temptation. Frontman Connor Dougan stated:

"We chose to avoid any colour in this music video. The black and white footage was used to indicate both ends of the emotional spectrum and I wanted it to illustrate the hot and cold relationship between the couple."

One More Weekend's new track has already seen support from Triple M, theMusic, The Faction, Punktuation and more since release and both sessions for their single launch are sold out. For those just being introduced to the band, they also have an album under their belt and have supported the likes of Skies Collide, The Beautiful Monument, Double Lined Minority, Arkive and Bec Sandridge.
