PSTCRDS RELEASE "CHANGE & GROW" AS SECOND DROP FROM FORTHCOMING EP, 'THIS PLACE OR OUR PACE' WILL BE AVAILABLE FRIDAY MAY 1

PSTCRDS have returned with their second infectious single - premiering at triple j's Short. Fast. Loud on Wednesday night - "Change & Grow" from upcoming EP 'This Place Or Our Pace', due out Friday May 1st!

PSTCRDS teamed up with music lord and producer Chris Lalic (WindwakerRumoursThe Last Martyr) to craft their own blend of soaring pop punk with an edge on the upcoming EP. 'This Place Or Our Pace' loosely follows a 'coming of age' commentary through a reflective perspective, and "Change & Grow" represents the high school experience and how it is often romanticised through pop culture. "As older generations look back on their high school memories, we often glorify experiences growing up, even though in reality schooling and education can be the hardest years to get through" explains vocalist Steven Reid.
"Navigating adolescence and the anxieties of growing up whilst also trying to figure out who you are and the experiences young people generally go through is hard - like trying alcohol, drugs, experimenting with new things, how you dress, how you act, how you treat people and are treated - this all factors into the overall experience and how you come out the other side."

PSTCRDS released "Don't Fake It" as the first of four from the forthcoming EP, and the track was welcomed with open arms. Exclusively premiering at Wall Of Sound with a radio premiere on triple j Unearthed, garnering a handful of positive staff reviews, a feature on Alternative Press, a spin on Short. Fast. Loud and shares across the nation. "Change & Grow" steps it up yet again and proves why PSTCRDS are ones to watch for 2020 and beyond.

Formed in early 2019, PSTCRDS is Steven Reid (vocals), Henry Holzberger (guitar), Tom Pockett (guitar/vocals), Brad Reid (bass/vocals) and Jack Stewart (drums). The band hit the ground running last year with their unique blend of emo and pop punk, playing to a full capacity crowd at The Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle off the back of their debut single "Someone You Can Be Proud Of". Taking support slots for bands such as Windwaker, Rumours and Traces, the band quickly followed up with their second single ‘Stories’, which saw rotation on The Faction and plays triple j’s Short.Fast.Loud.

The next installment is here - "Change & Grow" is available now to stream and purchase at all good online outlets and streaming platforms!
