Powerhouse artists Kwame and Tasman Keith today share their new song, 'ONE'. Listen HEREwatch HERE.

On their new collaborative work, produced by Kwame, co-produced by Kapital JKwame says, "I feel like there's always been this level of respect that Tasman and I have for each other. I've always highly rated Tasman as an amazing all-round artist! In my opinion, he has one the sharpest pens within the rap community of Australia." To the same effect, Tasman reflects "there are very few in this country who as soon as they drop make me want to go into the studio and get to work, almost like a friendly competition. He is one of them. When we properly got to connect during my mixtape sessions we both realised how much alike we are."

Speaking to their bond, forged through common ground, Tasman shares "ONE is our chance to not only show off and make one of the hardest tracks to date but also bring attention to certain things in the industry that we feel are outdated. The energy is unmatched and to share the record with someone who I strongly consider top tier, is special and allows us to create such a moment. Big love to Kapital, Nikos as well, this song wouldn’t exist without them."

'ONE' takes aim at industry players featuring Kwame and Keith’s most merciless bars to date. "ONE came from a writing trip that we all went on earlier in the year,” Kwame shares, lifting the curtain of the songwriting process. "I remember walking outside where one of the setups were and hearing a drum loop that Kapital J had started and my first reaction was "OH this shit go!" It was such an organic moment and I instantly knew how I wanted to approach the chorus."

A joint effort from start to finish, the two follow each step in unison. The result - Kwame pushing a cheeky nod to noughties era Ludacris and Tasman swerving curves like Dipset. The bars are sharp, as they chronicle their rise in the face of obstacles (“I can show you how to get right through the door without a key”), to trusting no one and relying on yourself (“I got m*****f***rs claiming that they like my s**t”), 'ONE' is firm from the jump and rampant with nerve, steered by a partnership as dynamic and matched as Dre and Snoop, Ghostface and Raekwon, Pusha and Malice - or two triple j Award-Winning opponents, now sporting the same jersey.

This isn’t the first time the two have collaborated, with Kwame jumping on production duties for 'THESE DEVILS', a cut from Tasman’s 2020 mixtape and later performed live together on the TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN tour. Individually, it’s been a busy twelve months for both artists who have in recent months, collaborated and toured with Midnight Oil, shared mixtapes Please, Get Home Safe. and To Whom It May Concern, and now pushing their craft to where Tasman Keith and Kwame currently stand - at the top of their game.
