PARADISE CLUB SIGN TO FARMER & THE OWL + ANNOUNCE DEBUT ALBUM + SHARE NEW SINGLE/VIDEO ‘ALL YOU GOT’

Adelaide’s Paradise Club are thrilled to announce the release of their sublime debut album, Paradise Club, out on July 17 via their new home, Farmer & The Owl.

Alongside the news comes their new single “All You Got”. An intoxicating and richly textured ear-worm, “All You Got” sees Paradise Club draw on their dream-emo foundation and layer it with lush pop flourishes, glistening guitars and musings on life, loss and appreciating every moment with those who are still around.

Frontman Gere Fuss explains: “At the end of 2018 I learnt about some family stuff that was going on. At the start of 2019 a close friend passed away. A month later my dog died. It was one of the worst times of my life but I learnt a lot from what had happened. The song is about that period of my life, how I should never take the time I have with people for granted, and how thankful I am to have a supportive network of family and friends. It’s fucked up how certain things can make you feel helpless and isolated, yet how resilient and understanding of the world you can become.”

Crafted over three-and-a-half years, Paradise Club was recorded amongst the stunning surrounds of the Dandenong Ranges in Melbourne, with the band at the helm every step of the way. Paradise Club romantically deliberates themes of love, death, family and friends tempered with a blissful soundtrack that yearns for carefree summer days that bleed into endless nights on the dance floor. So far, we’ve been treated to three brilliant singles from the album - Heart of GoldSaturday Night and Above Me - the latter finding a home on triple j and Unearthed airwaves.

Blooming onto the Adelaide scene in 2017, Paradise Club instantly stood out as a DIY force - everything from writing to recording to producing the accompanying music videos, the band had it covered. They quickly forged a strong identity both sonically and aesthetically while honing their stagecraft supporting the likes of Ocean AlleyTrophy EyesEndless Heights and The Lemonheads while also opening up the Adelaide leg of Laneway Festival in 2018.

Grab the record, drop the needle and let Paradise Club wash away those iso blues.
