Following on from a milestone year with debut album ‘Women, Weed & Wordplay’ - the 13th highest selling album in Australia in 2019, home to two gold singles, and has racked up a staggering 60 million streams and counting – south-west Sydney's homegrown, self-made juggernaut Chillinit today gives us a second taste from his much anticipated second album ‘The Octagon’ (due January 31) with new single “Laying Low”.

Fresh off the back of a string of energetic and captivating performances at FOMO Festival nationally, Chillinit’s rabid fanbase has never been more engaged than right now.

First single “Ready For The Pain” trended at #1 on YouTube on release, and is on the cusp of two million streams in just over a month. Chillinit’s surprise EP ‘4 DAYS’ with frequent collaborator Huskii (which dropped in December) has also just ticked over three million combined hits across all platforms.

New single “Laying Low” cements his crown as the most exciting and unprecedented new hip-hop artist in Australia, as he flexes his infamously hedonistic lifestyle with swift punchlines and pop-culture references, alongside a strong anti-establishment rhetoric reflecting his past brushes with the law.

Chillinit's brazen flow is teamed with murky production from Jaguar Kevins, who takes reference from the traditional school of hip-hop with his raw, boom bap inspired instrumental.

“Laying Low” is out now.  Chillinit’s second album ‘The Octagon’ will arrive January 31st.
