BABIRUSA RELEASE NEW SINGLE 'DEHUMANISED' FROM 'HUMANOID' ALBUM

Deathcore crew Babirusa's debut album, a concept record entitled Humanoid, is mere weeks away - it will enter this realm of existence on Friday August 28th.

This week, they are releasing the final and most brutal and technical cut from the record ahead of its release - Dehumanised. The track debuted on Lochlan Watt's program The Racket on triple j. While premiering the track, Lochlan said that Babirusa's album Humanoid is "no doubt incredibly brutal." Now the video for the track has premiered at Slam Worldwide.

Pre-Orders for the Humanoid album are available now - Physical Bundles are available at https://babirusa.bigcartel.com and digital pre-orders/pre-saves available now at http://ffm.to/babirusa_humanoid.

The album Humanoid is focused around the story of a central character, known as 343, and his journey between reality and the cybernetic world.

This new single takes place towards the end of the album and it's about the moment that 343 realises "...he is now completely at the mercy of what holds him, he finally loses all hope and gives in to his fate, knowing that the curiosity and creativity of humanity has damned him and many others to bring to life a machine that will one day take over for good."

Humanoid was Recorded, Engineered, Mixed and Mastered by Dan Field at Sledgehammer Studios, Brisbane, QLD, Australia and Produced by Thy Art is Murder Guitarist Sean Delander.

Babirusa's previous single Catatonia was added immediately to Spotify playlists Deathcore and New Blood, enjoyed plays on triple J's The Racket weeks in a row, rotation play on The Faction, plays on idobi radio, inspired Local Band Smokeout to give it a 9.2/10 and for Metal Trenches to say that they are "...challengers to Infant Annihilator's Deathcore crown!"

Add to that, triple J and triple J Unearthed Staff have had nothing but 4-star reviews and praise for the band. Tommy Faith said: "*Me, looking back and forth between an Elephant and this the new Babirusa record.... Babirusa is heavier.", The Racket presenter Lochlan Watt proclaimed that the track is "Insanely savage. Those vocals are disgusting." and Dave Ruby Howe said "Can't talk, deceased."
