Niriko McLure today launches her Sydney-based artist management company Third Person Management, already replete with a four strong artist roster and creative director services.

Covering artist development, marketing and promotion, touring and live strategy, Niriko works on campaigns for both developing and established artists, centred around an approach of career longevity.

Third Person’s artist roster currently includes ARIA Award winning, multi-platinum songwriter and producer Jarryd James, indie shoegaze duo EGOISM, dance-pop artist and creative Chela Etc and tomboy-electronic artist and producer HANDSOME.

Utilising her experience in creating and executing global campaigns, Niriko also acts as Creative Director for artists and labels outside of the roster. Niriko builds concepts that unite separate visual components, marketing initiatives and branding through an overarching campaign. In this capacity, Niriko has worked on an international fan convention, concepting video clips with content screens and outdoor album advertising projections then utilised in a live show format, directed two day shoots in rural Australia collating photos and BTS content for entire album campaigns. Niriko has worked with Specific Music (Universal) and Original Matters on their clients and will continue to offer this service.

Niriko says: “I was a fan of all of the artists on the roster before we started working together, I’m proud to become a part of their team and be involved in shaping their careers. I feel incredibly grateful to work with people who I respect both artistically and personally, and look forward to what we can create and achieve.” 

Niriko McLure began managing artists in 2007 with hip-hop crossover artist Snob Scrilla. Working with Niriko, Snob was signed to Ivy League Records/Mushroom, released an EP (The Day Before), an album (Day One), and sold out national tours along with appearances at Parklife FestivalHomebake and support slots for Matisyahu and Faker.

In 2012, Niriko joined Wonder Music Co. as General Manager, overseeing the signing and development of 5 Seconds of SummerMatt CorbyUnearthed High artist Taj RalphLiberation Music’s R.W. GraceIsland Records’ Lakyn, and ran the publishing arms (with Sony ATV) and label 1825 with flagship artist Fountaineer releasing their debut album Greater City, Greater Love.

The launch of Third Person Management coincides with the announcement of Jarryd James’ forthcoming second album, P.M, due out January 22nd 2021, the release of EGOISM’s debut EP, On Our Minds, and their subsequent headline hometown launch dates in December.
