“The proof is in the pudding, and if puddings are catchy songs then Noah is head chef”
- Nick Findlay, triple j

“..excuse me while I carve out some extra space on the WA's Mt. Rushmore for indie visionaries alongside Kevin Parker, Nick Allbrook, Stella Donnelly and Carla Geneve.”
- Dave Ruby Howe, Triple J

“It's hard to find a Perth songwriter quite like Noah Dillon. He's become a go-to for blistering folk-rock on the west coast; his storytelling and guitar-ridden melodies drawing you in and not letting you go."
- Pilerats

“Dillon creates an earthy brand of indie-rock that feels simultaneously raw and carefully considered; it’s vulnerable yet confident.”

Noah Dillon returns with a new single and video for ‘That’s Just How I Feel’. Celebrating personal freedom, the song and its accompanying video are a dedication to individualism and being who you are. The single comes with the announcement of his biggest tour to date, with shows across WA and the East Coast.

Noah says of the song, “‘That’s Just How I Feel’ is about all the things that can bring you down but how being yourself, with someone you love, is the perfect antidote.” Life can be messy but having perspective, and being anchored to the right values is what matters most. He continues, “This song is an anthem for holding onto the people you love and holding onto your beliefs. It’s not worth caring too much about what lays outside of that.” With the ‘if it feels good, do it’ ethos in full swing, the song sits snug in a warm pocket of fuzz guitars and saturated drums.

The music video for ‘That’s Just How I Feel’ was directed by Noah Dillon himself alongside Daniel Hildebrand who brought Noah's vision to life. “I wanted the video to have the energy of someone who has lost it. In losing it they find bliss in acting exactly how they want. The two bird people in the clip represent our inner voices and the need for them to work side by side. The clip also looks to challenge gender stereotypes in clothing and demeanour. Doing what feels right to you regardless of social constructs gives strength to the individual.”

That’s Just How I Feel’ was recorded at Debasser Studio with producer Andy Lawson. Claudia Genovese plays bass with Jack Hill on the drums and Sam Rocchi on lead Guitar. The band have a swaggering confidence and lay a solid foundation for Noah’s energetic delivery.

2020 saw Noah release three singles all with triple j high rotation; ‘Knievel Daredevil', ‘Matthew McConaughey’ and ‘Sunburnt in July’. Noah was the 4th most played artist on triple j Unearthed, a Feature Artist and was selected for the #BIGSOUND50. Noah has been selling out shows across WA and has played Nannup, Wave Rock, and Good Day Sunshine festivals. He’s also supported the likes of Holy Holy, San Cisco, Spacey Jane and Paul Dempsey.
