WOLFJAY continues their pursuit of creating the perfect coming-of-age end-credit song by teaming up with JAPANESE WALLPAPER for the remix of the title track off their EP ‘Together’. The release marks the third song from the Melbourne-based artist for 2020, following ‘In Memory Of’ and Triple J Unearthed Supergroup finalist ‘Very Soon, Very Frequent’, which featured indie-pop angel Austen. Listen to ‘Together (Japanese Wallpaper Remix)’ HERE.

The track arrives complete with a music video shot completely over video call, featuring 50 friends and fans and the team who worked on the song. The video is set to premiere Friday 21/08 on Twitch accompanied by a live performance. WOLFJAY says this about the song and the accompanying video:

“I wrote Together about spending time with friends and being close to people you love, which is something that’s pretty hard to do at the moment living in Melbourne in the middle of Stage 4 lockdowns. I haven’t been able to see my family since February as they all live interstate, and it’s not currently legal to visit friends here in Melbourne. I still wanted to celebrate hanging out and sharing moments with friends for the video of Together, so I video called 50 of my friends and people who have supported me as an artist over such a tough year, and cut it all up into a video. It was so beautiful being able to see friends again, and I couldn’t think of anything more perfect to accompany this remix of Together.”

The remix is also Wolfjay’s first collaboration with JAPANESE WALLPAPER, who reached out after falling in love with the song after it’s release on Brooklyn’s Sleep Well Records last year.
